Job Title: Cashier/Front End Associate – F/T
Department: Front End
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service, answer questions and provide assistance. Operate a computerized cash register using knowledge of building supply products and their related codes (full training provided). Answer telephones and direct callers to appropriate departments. Provide front-end customer service. Position requirements: HS diploma or equivalent. Excellent public relations and verbal communication skills; reading, writing and mathematical skills.
Hours: average 45 hours per week. Part time position: average 25 hours per week. JAY-K Store Hours: MTW - 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.; TH & F - 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Sat. 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sun. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Salary: $8/hr plus OT

Job Title: Credit Supervisor – F/T
Department: Office
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and direct the daily operations of the Credit department including conducting credit investigations, approving and assigning credit terms and credit limits and administrate all collection activities ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Prepare daily deposit from checks received from customers through the mail. 2. Analyze the COD and Courtesy accounts to keep them current. 3. Contact customers to make arrangements regarding overdue accounts via telephone and in writing. Collect Payments on Accounts. Coordinate computer lists for aged Accounts Receivable. 4. Analyze credit data for accounts, conduct credit investigations, approve and assign account credit terms and credit limits, modify terms and limits as necessary. Report unpaid accounts to the Credit Bureau. Provide copies of invoices to customers. Provide administrative assistance as necessary. 5. Prepare Demand letters and Confession of Judgments. Initiate Liens and Accounts to Attorneys. Prepare documents and appear for Small claims Court. Advise Management of account activity. 6. Meet with potential contractors regarding the mortgage program and prepare all documentation. 7. Contact customers regarding returned checks and follow through with collection procedures. 8. Analyze the Co-op account and prepare all documentation regarding monies brought back to the company. 9. Prepare all paperwork for vouchering.
